I cannot remember the last time I had a blog. It must have been long before I even had a website. Writing could be a great way to gather all my photography and shoot ideas in one place. Instead of scribbling in multiple notebooks, I want to express my thoughts clearly. Writing used to be therapeutic for me. Perhaps there is something to explore here.
Currently, I am in Lithuania for the holidays. Instead of taking a break, I find myself tweaking my website and searching for inspiration. This could be a good sign for the year ahead (or not).
It is amusing that the first suggestion from this blogging app was, "Would you like to generate a post with AI?". This kind of defeats the purpose of personal expression but I understand why some people would want to SEO farm entirely. However, I have decided to write this blog without AI assistance (for now). Only way to feel inspired and creative is to actually do it.
I believe that inviting creativity into one area of life can lead to inspiration in others. In this case, it might enhance my current series of cocktail photography. I will discuss this project in more detail in my next post. I aim to create a new style that represents me for potential clients, and lately new additions are in the drinks photography space.
Conclusion
Will I follow the stereotypical path of starting a blog, posting once or twice, and then abandoning it? Only time will tell. However, I am committed to this journey. I want to share my experiences and insights as I navigate the world of photography and blogging.
